About Altometrics

Altometrics is working to make the Internet faster. It equips cloud providers with full insight into the performance of their infrastructure. Though cloud computing could make for a much more capable and less expensive Internet, many application developers aren’t yet sure that they can entrust their mission-critical web presences to a third party because of  concerns that they may not be able to manage the performance of their applications adequately. Altometrics provides cloud vendors with the insight needed to provide quantified performance assurance to their customers.

Team

Founder & CEO, Sir Robert Burbridge
After a decade of entrepreneurship and software design and development, Mr. Burbridge spent the past four
years in software engineering at Cisco Systems, Inc. His experience in leading people and managing projects as
well as his solid foundation in networking technologies help shape the company’s products and strategies.

Founder & CTO, Jeff Terrell, Ph. D.
Dr. Terrell received his PhD in Computer Science from UNC through five years of graduate and doctoral
research on anomaly detection methods. His research became the prototype of Altometrics’ unique cloud
monitor, which has been demonstrated and proven on the UNC campus network.
